Role overview

As Senior Account Manager, you will manage end-to-end client engagement: discovery, proposal, negotiation, onboarding, retention, and expansion. You will ensure clients derive real value from Proxify’s engineers, build lasting partnerships, and grow your account portfolio.

Key responsibilities

- Build and nurture relationships with senior decision-makers; manage a portfolio of enterprise clients to drive satisfaction and loyalty.

- Engage regularly with C-level and senior technical stakeholders to shape their tech-resourcing and project strategies.

- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, negotiate contracts, and secure long-term renewals.

- Coordinate with internal talent, engineering, and delivery teams to align resources, timelines, and outcomes with client expectations.

- Monitor account health, report on performance, advise clients on improvements, and manage risks.

- Match developers to client needs using your technical understanding, working with Client Engineering to ensure quality and fit.

Must-have

- 5+ years managing enterprise or large B2B client accounts; experience in tech services, software, staffing, or outsourcing (UK, Spain and French market preferred).

- Proven track record of closing deals, growing revenue, and retaining long-term clients.

- Credible technical fluency and understanding gained via hands-on roles (developer, project/product/engineering lead) or working closely with technical teams.

- Strong negotiation and commercial skills; comfortable discussing pricing, SLAs, scope, and delivery models with senior stakeholders.

- Ability and willingness to travel 2-4 business trips per month as needed.

- Self-starter attitude; ownership of outcomes, persistence, and ability to manage multiple projects/clients.

- Experience with CRM, forecasting and account planning tools.

Nice-to-have

- Experience in staffing, developer sourcing, or tech recruitment.

- Comfortable in distributed team or remote-work environments.

- Knowledge of current tech trends (cloud, AI, frameworks, remote work).

- Familiarity with enterprise contracting, procurement or legal norms.

- Native English and fluent in Spanish and/or French.

- Wider professional network across the UK.
