Angling Lines is a UK-based, family-owned platform connecting anglers with carp fishing locations in France through a custom-built booking system similar to Airbnb.

• Took full ownership of a custom Laravel-based platform, acting as the sole developer responsible for backend and frontend delivery.

• Led continuous platform upgrades, including migration from Laravel 7 toward newer Laravel versions to improve security, performance, and maintainability.

• Refactored core API architecture by replacing the outdated tobscure/json-api library, rewriting key API controllers and serializers to modernize data handling.

• Designed and maintained RESTful APIs serving a React.js frontend, ensuring stable communication between client and server.

• Contributed to frontend development in React.js when needed, supporting UI improvements and feature delivery.

• Collaborated directly with business stakeholders via Trello and weekly planning meetings, translating business needs into technical solutions.
